Mr. Timothy Murphy first earned an associate degree in Religious arts at Northeastern Bible College, then bachelor of Science in Christian Studies with a Biology minor at Hillsdale College. He spent the summers of 1989 and 1990 at the Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, Keble College: Oxford University, and Wycliffe Hall: Oxford University. Finally, he achieved a Masters in History, with concentrations in early through modern US history and modern European History. His teaching experience stretches over 15 years, more than four of them now at Sacred Heart. Raised in New Jersey, recovering in Indiana (in his own words…), he and his wife Stephanie have been happily married for 19 years and have six children.
